The community of Oswego, Illinois, is reeling after a serious hit‑and‑run crash left a 15‑year‑old girl injured while riding her bicycle.

The incident occurred in the early hours of Wednesday, August 26, 2026, and has sparked renewed conversations about road safety and accountability.
